Sava river basin basic facts Area: 97 713 km2 (the second largest Danube sub-basin; share: 12%) Average flow at the mouth: 1722 m3/s (the largest Danube tributary; contribution: 25%) River length: 940 km (594 km of which is the waterway) Population: approx. 9 million Shared by 6 countries 2018-11-18 ŽELJKO MILKOVIĆ

Sava river basin Cooperation Framevork Framework Agreement on the Sava River Basin regulates transboundary cooperation in the Sava River Basin Signed in December 2002, entered into force in December 2004 Parties: Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia (Montenegro cooperate on the expert level) Implemented by the Sava Commission, with the Secretariat as its executive and administrative body 2018-11-18 ŽELJKO MILKOVIĆ
