Subgrant Award Report The SAR is a look at your overall agency type and a projection of who/how you intend to serve with the funding. Projection should cover the entire grant period (12 months) SAR was recently revised by OVC PPRI unlocked your 2016 SAR report and sent an email asking for updates If you have not responded to this email, please do so as soon as possible SAR revisions are highlighted on the next few slides
Q4. Priority and underserved Allocations A, B, C and D summed will total your grant award. Subcategories are NEW and must also sum to each A, C or D category
Q8. Agency Budget & Q9-Q11. FTEs Q8 is your entire victim services budget; not including the grant Q11 is NEW Calculating FTEs – add the total # of hours worked by all staff in a week and divide by 40 OR total # of hours worked in a year and divide by 2,088
FTE Calculations Full Time Equivalents (FTEs) Staff #1 is budgeted for 30 hours a week Staff #2 is budgeted for 40 hours a week Staff #3 is budgeted for 10 hours a week Staff #4 is budgeted for 10 hours a week TOTAL budgeted staff = 90 hours a week These 4 staff have a combined FTE of 2.25 If the report will not accept a decimal, round UP
Quarterly Reports OVC has not revised these reports YET, although they have begun the review process OVC has not released any further definitions or instructions
2017 REVISION – The Quarter 1 column for questions 2, 3, and 4 will be split into two. We will now collect demographic information (race, gender, and age) for both NEW and CONTINUING victims.
Quarter 4 Report – due 10/20/2016 Six extra questions are added to the “final” Quarterly report These are mostly narrative questions
Concerns & Questions This was a transition year. CJD expected and received incomplete data across the state. Turnaround to OVC is so small that we cannot revise submitted Quarterly data at this time. Keep in mind, OVC could ask for revisions to our data at any time.
