Carrying out a HSE competence assessment in SAPphire: Guidance for Assessors When the supervisor of staff, holding a HSE Critical Position, requests your help in reviewing the self assessment of one of their staff, they will send it to you for review and comment. This intimation need to be vide an external email. However you can also check if you have any assessments for your review by following the steps in the next slides

The HSE competencies should be towards the end To view all the competencies and competence levels required for this position, print off a hard copy (see next slide)

In case they feel it has to be changed then they need to put that in the remarks box Assessors should enter their remarks and recommendations here AFTER discussing with the position holder

Review of Assessment by Assessor Once you have completed your assessment, click the ‘Send Assessment” button. This will send the assessment to the line supervisor for final review & completion
