Develop life-cycle management and acquisition plans. “TRIAD” Develop life-cycle management and acquisition plans. MOA, 9 Oct 98 CG IOC CG TACOM PEO GCSS “ Our joint goal is to pursue the most comprehensive and cost-effective approach to the life-cycle management of munitions for the Army.” TRIAD Executive Council to ensure “teaming environment.” On 9 Oct 98 MG Arbuckle, MG Beauchamp and MG Michitsch signed a MOA to develop life-cycle management and acquisition plans. This teaming is important as we shape the ammunition of the future and our Industrial Base. The goal of the TRIAD is stated on this chart. Synchronized Approach 3 OF 4

Armament TRIAD MOA Integration Planning Team TACOM PEO-GCSS IOC ATD P&PT / TACOM-ARDEC Director, SMCA / IOC DSA / TACOM Director for PM / PEO-GCSS Chief, Pgms & Pdn Div/DCSAmmo DCS AMMO Plans & Policies TRIAD Executive Council This is the structure of the TRIAD. The 3 2-star generals form the TRIAD with DCS Ammo as an invited participant. An Executive Council is the second layer which serves as the Executive Agent for the TRIAD. The Executive Council is comprised of individuals :. Dick Koppenaal - TACOM-ARDEC, Bob Radkiewicz - IOC, Patti Felth - DSA TACOM, Bob Kuper from PEO-GCSS; and a representative from DCS Ammo. Their goal is to ensure a teaming environment among the Business Case Families. The 3rd layer is the Integration Team. Their charter is to assure that there is an overall plan and strategy for each Business Case Family which is in the best interest of the Army. They work individually with each family on the development of their plans. The last layer is comprised of the 7 Business Case Families.
