To support OER adoption and use for you and your students Library Resources To support OER adoption and use for you and your students

OER and other free-to-student resources OER texts will be linked under the top link This is what your students will see

Link to site Note: Also in Print version

Databases: students use and instructor linking Students (and instructors!) are authenticated to use all of our databases from their own devices and/or from off campus simply by signing in. Instructors may also link to articles from three main database publishers: Ebsco, ProQuest, and JSTOR.

This is what your students see

Instructors can also link to article text If you have any questions or would like assistance with linking, contact Steve Hunt (hunt_steve@smc.edu), our Systems Librarian

While you don’t need copyright permission to link to articles, you do need copyright permission to place the text directly into your page… UNLESS it is open source, freely-available, or has a Creative Commons license that states specifically how the material may be used, adapted, and/or shared.

Feel free to contact me for further information on how your Library can support you and your students. Thank you! Brenda Antrim antrim_brenda@smc.edu
