Miss I’s Example: Simple Sentences Compound Sentences The reason I love reading so much probably goes back to elementary school. It felt like a big sleep over. That’s why I’ve collected so many books as a teacher. We were allowed to bring in a pillow, blanket, or stuffed animal, and we just read all day long. All of us would sneak conversations every once in a while, and the teacher came up with fun things to do that related to books we all knew.

Find your 7 o’clock partner Share your story from the back of your grammar sheet, and get ready to share out examples of simple and compound sentences
