AmbirScan Connect Overview Product Overview Licensing Privacy and Support Workflow Demo Questions Today we’re going to review the new AmbirScan Connect software. We’ll discuss it’s features and functionality, how it differs from AmbirScan Connect, and see how it works. AmbirScan Connect Overview

AmbirScan Connect – What is it? Subscription service Integration application between Ambir and athenahealth Documents are ‘pushed’ into athenaNet ASC is a subscription service through atheanahealth and Ambir. There are 2 subscription options: Monthly: available to customers that are qualified by athenahealth for monthly billing via the athenahealth One-Bill program. Users pay $25/month, per workstation for ASC services when using Ambir scanners; $30/month per workstation when using a Fujitsu fi-7160. Yearly: customers who are not authorized by athenahealth to use One-Bill for integration products. Customers will purchase annual licenses for ASC through Ambir. Ambir and athenahealth are integrating to bring the software to users to enhance document scanning and attach to patient record workflow Different than AS4A: ASC allows users to ‘push’ the documents and cards into athenaNet

AmbirScan Connect Licensing Subscription service billed through athenahealth or Ambir AmbirScan Connect requires 2-part verification for security purposes License keys are same length as AS4A Requires a separate Unlock Code to activate Unlock Code delivered via SMS Licenses and unlock codes are issued by Product Team AmbirScan for athenaNet is a subscription service for customers. There is a 2-factor activation: email is sent to the user via email and unlock code is sent via SMS Unlock codes are never stored in NetSuite Verify the administrator’s name using the signed BAA, which will be stored in NetSuite Licenses will be handled by Marie  Matt  Al

Privacy and Security Documentation Authentication PHI Security NEVER store unlock codes in NetSuite Documentation NEVER send the license key and unlock code in the same message Authentication NEVER accept PHI(Personal Health Information) from a customer. PHI NEVER take screenshots and/or store PHI on an Ambir computer. This includes anywhere; laptop, SD Card, cloud storage, etc. Security Because of the way ASC works with cloud storage, additional security steps are needed to protect PHI (Personal Health Information). AmbirScan Connect Workflow / Users are saving up to 7 steps using ASC Documents are not saved locally Secure cloud transport deliver and pushed into patient record Users do not need to be logged into athenaNet to add documents No longer saving locally and importing Do not have to be logged into athenaNet to use ASC AmbirScan Connect Workflow

Identifying ASC Customers Identify ASC customers using the About tab ASC license keys will be stored on their customer record, making them searchable Identify ASC customers by clicking the About tab. The top right corner will say athenaNet Connect. The license key will be displayed in the bottom left corner of the screen. Unlock codes are not stored in the software or in NetSuite.

Anticipated AmbirScan Connect Issues Here are some of the items we feel may be the most asked to Support.

Unsupported Document Types Encounter Document – Health History Questionnaire Encounter Document – Procedure Documentation Encounter Document – Progress Notes Prescription – Change Prescription - Clarification Prescription – New Prescription – Prior Authorization Request Prescription – Renewal These documents are not supported in ASC. These document types are not available to upload to athenahealth via integration applications like AmbirScan Connect. If a customer would like to use our products with these document types please consult them to advise Ambir via the Request New Feature button within the About tab in the AmbirScan Connect software.

Copying Settings ASC settings are stored in C:\ProgramData\AmbirTechnology folder User may have Program Data folder hidden Refer to the User Guide for specific steps Settings can be copied from Program Data folder. Make sure the folder isn’t hidden. Steps are outlined in User Guide and also in FAQs.

Licensing Errors Verify license key is entered correctly. If an ASC key is deactivated from the PC, the unlock code must be re-entered. Support will not have access to that code. Support cannot generate ASC license If unlock code needs to be sent, notify Marie Forster. If Marie is unavailable, notify Matt Murray. Support cannot manually activate licenses Unlock codes must be typed in the field; cannot cut and paste If the license key and unlock code are entered correctly and software will not activate due to a firewall setting, escalate to Matt Murray. Licensing is handled slightly differently with ASC. Support does not have access to unlock codes as they are not in NetSuite. Support cannot generate ASC licenses. Cannot manually activate. If there is a firewall block, needs to escalate to Matt Murray.

File Upload Failure File size over 20 MG Lost internet connection Department ID is not associated with the patient records Downgraded software File upload failures are due to these 4 items

User Identification Options* PROMPTED A text file must be created and named AmbirScanAthenaUsers.txt Format in the file is as follows: Practice ID, semicolon, user names (Example: 55555555; Jane Smith; John Doe) Creates a drop down of user names in the Attach Patient Document window Name is then added to the Internal Note Field WINDOWS LOGIN Attaches the user name associated to the Windows Login for that computer *user identification options are only applicable with document uploads; the internal note field is not used in athenaNet for insurance cards and driver’s licenses If users want user names associated with the documents uploaded to a patient record there are 2 options to do so. The configuration is located in the Settings window of ASC.
