CSF Meeting 1/11/2018 Welcome!

Dell Scholars Program Deadline: January 15th Students must complete the online application, which includes information about their academics, college readiness program (CRP), SAT and/or ACT test scores, college plans, work and volunteer responsibilities, and financial need. In addition, students must complete several short essay questions (1,200 characters or less) regarding their life at home, family, greatest challenges and adversities, as well as what they hope to achieve in the future. The online application must be completed by the deadline date to be considered for the semi-finalist round. https://www.dellscholars.org/scholarship/how- to-apply/ Deadline: January 15th Must be a senior planning to apply to a four year with at least a 2.4 cumulative GPA and demonstrate need for financial assistance 300 awards of $20,000 (renewed annually)

Technology Addiction Awareness Students must complete the online application form and compose a 140-character message responding to the following prompt: Instead of spending time with technology, I'd rather.... The top ten applications will be selected as finalists and be asked to write an essay (500 to 1,000 words) about technology addiction. I Have a Dream Scholarship We want to know…what do you dream about? Whether it's some bizarre dream you had last week, or your hopes for the future, share your dreams with us for a chance to win $1,500 for college. The student's written response must be written in English, with correct spelling and grammar, and it must not exceed 250 words. No substitutions of new drafts or corrected pages will be accepted once the student has submitted his/her original application. All applications become the property of the sponsor and will not be returned. The sponsor assumes no responsibility for lost, late, misdirected, or unintelligible entries. Limit one application per person.
