Our Spring Early College 2016-2017 Yearbook has been recognized in the Jostens 2018 Look Book in the "Honorable Mention" section for creating a yearbook that captures stories and celebrates moments that matter! Jostens Look Book is the Who's Who for the best-of-the-best in yearbook design and coverage. It's a collection of spreads and photos from outstanding yearbooks and their creative themes, dazzling designs, cool covers, relevant coverage, storytelling and action-packed photography. The judges rated our book from cover to cover and everything in between and found it worthy as a quality product that competes with the bigger and best schools as well. Of the more than 254 high schools in the state of Texas only 100 schools made it on the list in this coveted category, and we are one of the 100. Congratulations to the yearbook staff for their hard work and dedication for this honor!

Lone Star College-North Harris Discovery College is looking for student volunteers this summer. We need reliable, responsible individuals to assist in our camp classrooms. Discovery college is 4 weeks, starting June 12 and ending July 13, with no camps held the week of July 2. Volunteers can choose hours that suit them best, camps run Monday-Thursday, 8am-5pm. It is a lot of fun, great way to get those volunteer hours, and we want to support our ISD area students! Sack lunches Students if you will be returning on the 1 p.m. bus from Lone Star, please make sure to pick up your sack lunch before leaving to Lone Star. You will not be allowed to pick up a lunch from the cafeteria when you return.
