INVOLVING Young People Sefton SEN & Inclusion Service

THE ehcp Animation 1. An animation on the EHCP process – to be used a tool to support schools and key partners to understand that it should be person centred. This film was led by young people from designing a story board, to creating art and recording voice over.

The Pathway of Support A short film aimed at parents and carers to show five different ways Sefton support children and young, parents and carers affected by SEN & Disability. It explores the different tiers of support from the Graduated Approach and beyond.

Emily’s Journey This is a short film featuring Emily. Emily is in her last year of primary school at Forefield Juniors, Crosby. She will start year 7 in Sep 17. The film captures how SEN Support works for Emily and enables her to learn and grow amongst her peers.

Sefton SAVVY – A Young Person’s App.

Having a Voice The final film documents the different ways we are involving young people. It highlights that we want young people to have a say or be in involved in how services are designed and delivered in the future. It follows young people filming Georgia a young woman who is currently undergoing Travel Training and promotes ‘Sefton Savvy’ our App.

Thank You We are very proud of all the children and young people who have been involved in this work and will continue to support young people to be involved. We hope you have enjoyed the films.
