Prepare to visit the Heathrow Jobs & Careers Fair This presentation should be delivered as a lesson to prepare your students before they attend a skills event. This will help maximise the benefits of attending. Have a discussion with the class on careers (e.g. What skills/hobbies they have? What they would like to do after school? How they could use the event to find out more information and speak to employers in the area).

Talk to the exhibitors Visit the different stands Try the hands-on activities Visit the live jobs board Collect information and handouts Ask questions Most important - have fun! Anything else? Some of the physical activities need sensible shoes – so go prepared!
