Kindergarten News Miss Fuller’s Class April 2017 * SPRING FLING * Sara.Fuller@sccboe.org mes.sccboe.org 205-640-2180 What Are We Learning? * SPRING FLING * Reading – Reviewing all letters; 4th Nine Weeks sight words; review all sight words; writing sentences independently; parts of a story, answer questions; make predictions Math – Intro measurement and 3D shapes; review addition and subtraction; skip counting; making groups of 10, review previous concepts Science / Social Studies – Spring; Plants (what plants need to grow, parts of a flower); Weather (clouds, types of weather, how to prepare for certain types of weather); Easter Spring Fling will be Friday, April 21st from 4:00-7:00pm. Each grade will have their own time to go to Spring Fling during the day. Kindergarten will go first on the morning of the 21st. We will need help during the day and at night with our game as well as candy to give out for prizes. If you’d like to help just let me know!  Reminders Important Dates *As the weather gets warmer please remember to dress your child appropriately. They will be going outside for recess and PE every day unless it rains. * Continue helping your child practice tying their shoes and opening packages/drinks. * If you have any concerns you would like to discuss with me before the end of the year please let me know so we can schedule a conference.
