IMPACT REPORT: HURRICANE IRMA September 08, 2017 IMPACT REPORT: HURRICANE IRMA (U) ANALYSIS: Social media usage throughout the last 24 hours within the Caribbean has been extremely prolific with over 829,000 mentions of Hurricane Irma. Most of the PAI has been talking about praying for the affected areas or showing infrastructure damage and flooding. The posts and pictures display massive infrastructure damage during and after the storm, government and military responses, preparedness broadcasts, and social media pleas of those affected who could not evacuate.
