Jumping Spider By: Julia

Spiders are arachnids.

A male Jumping spider is up to ½inches long but the Female is up to 5/8 inches long! It has a hairy body and it`s abdomen is black and white with a green jaw and big eyes .

The Jumping spider lives in the United States from the Atlantic coast to the Rocky mountains.

The jumping spider eats insects such as flies.

The Jumping spider can leap 40 or more times it`s length to catch it`s food and it`s black and white help it hide in crevices.

I Really enjoyed learning about the Jumping Spider it was a lot of fun!
