UNIQUE FACTS “The Museum has always been dedicated to the highest level of scholarship surrounding its collections and to the advancement of general knowledge about art.” (metmuseum.org) Metropolitan art museum consists of ancient history that took place during the early prehistoric eras.

What interested me the most I find this museum very interesting, because it has many artificial facts that shows the perspective on ancient cultures and how all cultures are similar in a way. I have always been very interested in the topic of ancient history, so to see something so breath taking, made me want to research more on the topic.

Reflection After visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art, I have discovered and learned many facts on how ancient history has effected the many cultures of today. Looking at the art works, you can see how ancient historians took pride in their religion by creating many sculptures. For example, buddhist made many sculptures resembling their God buddha. Another is how the romans made sculptures for their leaders, such as Juilius Cesar. They also made paintings expressing very dramatic events, like the painting of Julius Cesar being murdered by other officials, and citizens. From my experience at the Metropolitan Art museum, I have learned many things about ancient culture and how their religions were made.
