NSAT is the education arm of the SETRC and delivers standardized, accredited, and affordable telehealth instruction. The online Telemedicine / Telehealth Certification courses instruct on the essentials of telehealth and prepare individuals to become valuable members of a telehealth team. A completion certificate with 0.3 CEU/3 credit hours for this course will be awarded when all Learning Outcomes Conditions have been met.

NSAT TeleHealth Courses The Certified Telemedicine Presenter Course is designed so that its graduates will gain insights and skills in order to correctly and confidently present patients during virtual encounters with healthcare providers and a variety of specialists.   The Certified Telehealth Coordinator Course is designed so that its graduates will gain insights and skills to successfully implement, coordinate, and manage a telehealth program. The Certified Telehealth Liaison Course is designed so that its graduates will gain insights and confidence to successfully serve as a leader, promoter, and marketer in the telehealth industry.

The Coordinator Telehealth takes many staff applying their specialized knowledge to make a telehealth program operate smoothly. The Telehealth Coordinator is at the CENTER of everything, playing a key role in ensuring that the patient encounter is successful and that a high quality of service is received. Coordinators also play a key role with building awareness and support for the program.

The Coordinator The Telehealth Coordinator is responsible for the overall management of the Telehealth Program facilitating all aspects to include: Scheduling Marketing patient data collection financial aspects to include billing.

E-Emergency The Coordinator Tele-Psych Tele-Obstetrics Tele-Stroke The Coordinator is often responsible for determining other services that could be offered, working with clinical and administrative staff to enhance and expand telehealth services at your site. Tele-Psych E-Emergency 2 offering E-emergency (Avera)- supportive care to emergency physicians In early Sept. we will be piloting e-hospitalist services via the University of Iowa. Tele-Obstetrics-- Occasional use in prenatal consults for strip interpretation Our current tele-psych services are going well (want to look at other options with more services that are offered for mental health) We feel we have been successful in the areas of cardiology and neurology – in both outpatient as well as inpatient eICU (Electronic Intensive Care Unit) Tele-Obstetrics Tele-Stroke E-Hospitalist E-ICU Cardiology
