YEARGROUP PROFILE EXAMPLE Enlisted Program Authorizations (EPA) = billet authorizations by rating & pay grade. Note: PTS quotas are managed by YEARGROUP (YRGRP). Overmanned YRGPs have less PTS in-rate opportunity and Undermanned YRGPS have greater PTS in-rate opportunity. Examples of PTS Opportunity YRGP 2007 is undermanned; personnel applying for PTS will have a greater opportunity to receive a PTS in-rate quota or a PTS convert-in quota (if offered). YRGP 2008 is overmanned; personnel applying for a PTS quota will have limited opportunity and after 3 in-rate applications should submit PTS applications with the rating conversion option to remain in the Navy.
