CCP’s work in Emergency Preparedness Strengthening emergency response skills of Journalists and Community Radio staff in Guinea Bissau and Cote d’Ivoire Strengthening health system and bolstering emergency health communication sub- committees/pillar in SBCC through development of health communication policy, development of shared vision, mapping and coordination, and IPC/C trainings in Guinea Bissau. Developing Tools and Resources for Emergency Preparedness including I-Kit
Leverage, synthesize and disseminate lessons learned on how to incorporate SBCC into public health preparedness and emergency response. Serve as a “go to” resource for global, national and community level health practitioners working on preparedness for public health emergencies. Reviewed by country level partners in Sierra Leone, Guinea Bissau, Ivory Coast and Tanzania and global partners including UNICEF, WHO and CDC.
