Physical and Chemical Changes

Physical Changes in Matter Physical change: a change in size, shape, or state of matter. It does not form a different type of matter.

Chemical Changes in Matter Chemical change: a change in matter that forms a different type of matter with different properties. A new substance is created that wasn’t there before.
