Surah Al-Humazah In the name of Allah, the Beneficent, the Merciful Woe to every scorner and mocker Who collects wealth and (continuously) count it He thinks that his wealth will make him immortal. No! He will surely be thrown into the Hutamah And what can make you know what is Hutamah? It is the fire of Allah, (eternally) fueled, Which mounts directed at the hearts. Indeed, Hellfire will be closed down upon them In extended columns.

Lessons from Surah Al-Humazah Allah s.w.t. forbids us from slandering and rebuke others. Those who are proud of their wealth and do not give away in Allah’s path is disliked by Allah s.w.t. Slandering, rebuking and not giving wealth according to Allah’s decree will be punished Hutamah is a place of flaming fire that can burn the hearts of men and they will be imprisoned in it

Reason Behind The Revelation Umayyah bin Khalaf always rebukes and insults Muhammad s.a.w. whenever he sees him. Thus Allah revealed this surah as a grave warning of punishment for those who have such ideas and acts like so.
