Everyday Mathematics Aligned to the CCSS 9 Units Math Tools, Time, and Multiplication Number Stories and Arrays Operations Measurement and Geometry Fractions and Multiplication Strategies More Operations Fractions Multiplication and Division Multidigit Operations The program is based on a spiral method so concepts will repeat and be reinforced through out the year. Hands-on tools and games Homelinks will be used as enrichment and reinforcement therefore some pages maybe completed in class and some will be sent home to be completed and or studied before assessments.
Homework Word Study You child will be bringing home a Word Study notebook in the beginning of the week and expected to complete 3 word activities by the end of the week. These activities will help to reinforce the spelling words and skills we are working on that week. Math Homelinks will be sent home on an as needed basis. Reading is a fundamental part of a child’s learning development so please be sure to take the quality family time and read with them every night. Any work that was unable to be completed in class will be sent home for homework. Please sign your child’s planner each night
