Questions about the PBL What questions should we ask? What are focus characteristics? How would you try to answer these questions in observations? That is, what would be a good observing program?

A PBL Definition: ”We can define the boundary layer as that part of the troposphere that is directly influenced by the earth’s surface, and responds to surface forcings with a time scale of about an hour or less” (Stull, Boundary Layer Meteorology)
