MY SHOP SENT MY CHILDREN TO SCHOOL April 2016

Krishna Kumari Gurung was worried about her three sons. Her family didn’t have enough money for books, so the boys couldn’t go to school.

Then Krishna Kumari joined the savings group that a local church had started with help from Sagoal. Every month she invested 30p with the group.

She borrowed £105 and used it to start a shop. In the shop she sells groceries and spicy snacks that she makes herself. It is hard work but she is pleased with her success.

Today, the shop makes about £65 per month! It is enough to send the children to school, and to have some leftover.

PRAYER Thank God for Self Help Groups and the change they make! Pray for Krishna, that her business would succeed Notes to leader: You could lead the group in prayer, or ask people to pray in 2s and 3s.
