Lessons from Isaiah Redeemed "Fear not" is a little word measured by space and letters; but it is an abyss of consolation if we remember who it is that saith it, and what a wide sweep the comfort takes. - Spurgeon February 11, 2018

Isaiah 42:22-25 Plundered Looted Trapped in holes Hidden in prison Spoil for their enemies Who is there to rescue or even listen to them?

Isaiah 42:24 Who gave up Jacob to the looter, and Israel to the plunderers? Was it not the LORD, against Whom we have sinned, in Whose ways they would not walk, and Whose law they would not obey?

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the LORD, He Who created you, O Jacob, He Who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the LORD, He Who created you, O Jacob, He Who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the LORD, He Who created you, O Jacob, He Who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.”

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the LORD, He Who created you, O Jacob, He Who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

1 Peter 1:13-21 Ransomed with the precious blood of Christ!

Jesus Did It! Galatians 3:13 - Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree” 2 Corinthians 5:21 For our sake He made Him to be sin Who knew no sin, so that in Him we might become the righteousness of God.

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

Isaiah 43:2 When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.

1 Corinthians 15:19 If in Christ we have hope in this life only, we are of all people most to be pitied.

Hebrews 13:6 So we can confidently say, “The Lord is my helper; I will not fear; what can man do to me?”

Revelation 6:11 Then they were each given a white robe and told to rest a little longer, until the number of their fellow servants and their brothers should be complete, who were to be killed as they themselves had been.

We Are Held Psalm 54:4 Behold, God is my helper; the Lord is the upholder of my life. Psalm 63:8 My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me. Psalm 145:14 The Lord upholds all who are falling and raises up all who are bowed down.

Isaiah 43:1 But now thus says the LORD, He Who created you, O Jacob, He Who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by name, you are Mine.

For Our Consideration What does being redeemed mean to you in your daily life? What does God Almighty calling you by your name mean to you? What does being God’s possession mean to you today? What does God being with you in the flood and fire mean to you?

Prayer Focus Thank You so much Father for loving us and making us part of Your Family Thank You for Your Word that reveals how You feel about us Thank You for an earthly life that makes an eternal impact Thank You for another day to walk on with You and to grow
