Athena By: Chloe V.

The Origin of Athena Favorite daughter of Zeus Goddess of wisdom War when Metis was pregnant he swallowed her and Athena was born from Zeus‘s head, wearing armor and fully grown.  Athena was regarded as the patron and protectress of various cities across Greece, particularly the city of Athens, from which she received her name Athena was, perhaps, the wisest, most courageous, and certainly the most resourceful of the Olympian gods.

Specialties & Powers Of Athena Mythology Crafts War Wisdom

Stories about Athena Her story starts when Zeus had a headache from which he could get no relief; so he sent for Hephaestus and said to him, "Split open my head with your axe." As soon as Hephaestus had done this, a maiden goddess, clothed in armor, sprang from the head of Zeus. The maiden was Athena, the goddess of wisdom.

How Athena was born! When the time came for Athena to be born the smith god Hephaistos opened Zeus' head with an axe and Athena stepped out in full armor.

Conclusion What I think I cool about Athena is that she was born from Zeus's head with a helmet on and full armor.
