More Powerful. More Effective. More Fulfilled. Value Proposition Women in Tax is the only organization for women that integrates all career levels and fields of tax As an independent organization, we: Work with company Women’s Initiatives programs to strengthen networks and sharpen skills for women in the field of tax; Challenge industry norms; Seek out the reasons for women leaving the field of tax; Honestly examine the reasons that hinder women from reaching leadership positions; Build and lead programs to respond to industry trends, technical needs, and leadership gaps Why join Women In Tax? Perhaps you are a new professional, struggling to understand a technical issue – our members can help. Perhaps you are preparing for a performance review, and don’t know what to expect – our members can help. Perhaps you are thinking of leaving your current job, but are not sure if you are making the right move – our members can help. Perhaps you are not being staffed on challenging client assignments, and don’t know who to turn to for advice – our members can help. Perhaps you wish you had a role model to turn to for inspiration – our members can help. Get the idea? You are not the first person who is struggling with these issues, nor will you be the last. Many times in my career, I wished I had someone (independent from peers in my company) to turn to for advice to help me make better decisions. Hopefully Women In Tax will be there to help you through your journey. More Powerful. More Effective. More Fulfilled.
