Fairwood Growth – Wayne’s Place Apartments Buildable area = 1.5 acres Protected area = 1.5 acres Zoned 18 units/acre Schneider proposal: Apartments = 3 acres * 18 = 56 units Bonus = 56 units & .2 = 22 extra units Total = 78 units Buildable area: Apartments = 1.5 acres * 18 = 27 units Bonus = 27 units & .2 = 5 extra units Total = 32 units 195 people –Tot playground, 1 basketball court, 1 table, 1 bench, .25 acre turf open area Apt is right on 140th Protected stream with salmon – waiver to reduce buffer stream area by 50% Driveway onto 180th Exit onto 140th – no road improvements planned 11/18/2018

Fairwood Growth – Wayne’s Place Apartments Firs Fairwood Growth – Wayne’s Place Apartments Community Meeting: 2/8/16 Some of the comments below: TRAFFIC 140th is already too crowded 180th is too narrow Site Distance to enter from 180th to 140th NEIGHBORHOOD CHARACTER AND COMPATIBILITY The project is incompatible with its surroundings The project needs to look at the specific site and its surroundings, not just the allowed density and height as its only guide This is too much density so close to single family residences and for the Fairwood area in general, especially considering the lack of local services in the area CRITICAL AREAS AND FISH AND WILDLIFE HABITAT Lasting damage to critical area No environmental mitigation plan required PUBLIC SERVICES Public transportation is limited Elementary school is already over capacity 11/18/2018
