About Coach Coleman 10 Years coaching experience: House League Central Loudoun Youth Basketball League, Oakton High School, Hagerstown CC, Battlefield HS Won 3 Conference Championships, 2 of the last 3 Regional Championships, 2 trips to the State Final 4, 45 young men in college/15 playing basketball I am: IT Project Manager from James Madison Univ who loves GOD, good food and leading others to realizing their full potential 4 Corners Approach to life Passion DRIVES Perfection!

To instill and continually develop the values of Yellow Jacket PRIDE Perseverance and Preparation Resiliency and Relentless Integrity Dedication and Determination Excellence To bring about an experience of excitement and satisfaction of being part of an elite program to all those connected to the program – players, support staff, coaches, alumni, boosters and fans. To develop leaders and push each of our players to pursue academic and athletic excellence while continually demonstrating traits of high character and integrity. Philosophy/culture The Goals of the OP Basketball Program are: Acquire a team GPA of 3.0 or above for each level. Develop into one of the Top Boys Programs in the State of Virginia that initiates a sense of school pride and fosters a winning tradition. Build and foster positive relationships within the student body, faculty and surrounding community. Participate in the VHSL 6A Region and State Playoffs with consistency. Compete for the League Championship yearly. Passion DRIVES Perfection!

Community Service Activities In an effort to give back to this community, while once again helping to raise the profile of Osbourn Park High School…the basketball team will engage in the proposed community service activities: Adopt a Highway Cleanup Habitat for Humanity Must be 16 or over to work on construction Under 16 can donate lunches to worksites and hang door hangers Read to elementary school age children Free elementary school basketball clinics Passion DRIVES Perfection!

UPCOMING EVENTS On Thursday, May 17, The OP Boys Basketball Program will host International Motivational Speaker, Author, Univ. of Alabama-Huntsville Hall of Fame Basketball Player and host of a weekly Podcast called “Off The Bench,” Mark Wiggins. He will be speaking to any interested OP Student Athlete, but specifically the Boys Programs on the importance of “Getting off the Bench.” The importance of not settling for 2nd, pushing with great passion towards your goals and also he will conduct a workshop on “Speaking with the Media.” Passion DRIVES Perfection!
