Passion Project What if you could see your animal in the dark? That was my question when making my passion project. I made a animal collar that lights up in the night so you won’t trip on your loved animal. One of my main goals was to have a good presentation, so I started on my board first. Then I research the price of my product and made a spread sheet.

The Locator Finding Man’s Best Friend

The Locator During this project I learned: I like doing financial math. There is a lot of work in creating a new product and even more when creating a business. I thought that it would manly be math based, but creating this product I used so many parts of my brain.

The Time I am very proud of this project, but nothing is ever perfect. There are so many things I wished I done differently or spent more time on. I wish I spent more time on making my poster board more sturdy and everything very clean. The spread sheet I handed out (to your left) had all of my materials listed and things that will be coming soon. Many of my ideas came when I was half way through the project.

STEAM Activities One of our first activities was to build a house with cotton swabs. My walls overlapped so it made a walled triangular house. I would gladly live in my house if it was built with modern day building materials. Although this was a simple project, there was many different possibilities.
