Globalization: the Cultural Identities of McDonald’s AP Human Geography Nature and Perspectives Unit

For today, 09/14 GLOBALIZATION In your groups, DEEs DEEs means: Define it Explain it Examples of it

For today, 09/08 Pick up “Lizzie’s Morning” and begin working. Use the word bank and GUESS! Relax, it’s not for a grade!  League City Cultural Landscape Collage is due TOMORROW!

Globalization Definition: the force or process that involves the entire world and results in making something worldwide in scope. Explanation: Globalization means that the scale of the world is shrinking – not literally in size, duh, but in the ability of someone or something to interact with someone or something in another place. It makes the world more uniform and interdependent. Examples: Jeans. Jeans are worn all over the world. McDonalds – seriously, Micky D’s are on every continent (except Antarctica). English – the language, not the class. Again, duh.
