Compliance with Evidence Based Guidelines Standard 4.6 Compliance with Evidence Based Guidelines Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia Workup Joseph Pipala, MD; Dilip Patel, MD Objective: Was the workup performed on CLL cases Time under Study: Years 2013, 2014, 2015 Criteria: CLL patients diagnosed at St. Francis Hospital National Guidelines used: NCCN FINDINGS Total # of patients newly diagnosed with CLL 57 No. of patients Immunoglobulins and/or direct Coombs’ test performed 49 Performance Compliance 85% Comments:6 patients excluded, SLL/CLL, 2 patients work up not done Recommendation: Screening patients with CLL for IgG subclass deficiency may be useful adjunct in stratifying their infection risk
