GMC’s Commitment to Your Student’s Success Committed, Caring Faculty Our Faculty have all been trained in student-centered learning, delivering content and skill-building. Our faculty hold at least a master’s degree, while many hold specialist and doctoral level degrees. Many of our faculty were high school instructors before becoming a professor; there are others who still teach at the high school level while serving GMC Online. 11/18/2018

Unique Opportunities for Cohort Learning Online Online Cohorts for YOUR Students Our cohort programs protect the integrity of the learning environment YOU have established by keeping your students in the same courses so that they can use each other as learning resources. We reach out to your school to recruit qualified faculty to lead these cohorts when possible. Some GMC MOWR cohorts also include on ground support from local personnel, especially if the school can provide qualified faculty to lead the cohort. We have seen higher than normal success rates due to this approach. 11/18/2018

Round the Clock Resources We provide “Round the Clock” resources for our students. -24 hour/7 days per week live tutors using Tutor.com Students receive a minimum of 10 hours of free tutoring via Tutor.com courtesy of GMC. They may request more by request. Students have access to the GMC Online library 24/7. GMC’s Online Librarian, Ryan Taylor, is also available to help students with research questions and projects. We provide library guides for quick reference; these guides give students great direction on how to approach their research. 11/18/2018

Transparency and Open Communications with Partners We do not subscribe to the “They’re college students now, so we can not communicate with you” mentality. We are your partners, not your obstacle. We respect the fact that these are YOUR students, and we are sharing this opportunity with you to shepherd them in their journey. Our experience has been that when GMC partners with you, students benefit the most. 11/18/2018

Counselor Check-Ins and Updates We believe that timely, frequent feedback, not only to the student, but also the counselors, is vital to the success of your students and the MOWR program. Each week, my office offers a “check-in” where student’s current average is provided to the counselors at each partner school. Counselors are encouraged to contact the dean’s office to work with us in offering constructive feedback and positive direction to struggling students. We openly communicate with counselors from the partner schools to ensure there are no surprises and there are ample opportunities for early intervention. 11/18/2018
