Lincolnshire Quality Standards

Person-centred working Integrated Neighbourhood Teams Self-care / self-management Social Prescribing To set the scene, we are going to give you some brief presentation introductions to some key topic areas that have all contributed to why we would like to explore developing a set of Quality Standards We will talk about Person-centred working Integrated Neighbourhood Teams Self care / self management Social Prescribing You could say that these are some of the buzz-words at the moment, but they are all very topical in both NHS, social care and community settings and a lot of work is being done in Lincolnshire to develop these agendas.

Quality Standards – Emerging thinking   Benefits of Quality Standards What are the benefits? Who benefits? Offer assurance What would this feel like? Light touch approach What do we mean by ‘light touch’? Link to other existing quality standards What are they? How will this work? Link to training What training? How? What has been done elsewhere? How can we learn from others?

Key principles? Quality Standards should:   Aim to offer statutory services an element of reassurance when making referrals Offer advantages to Voluntary Sector organisations on which they can capitalise and develop sustainability Support Voluntary Sector organisations to grow and develop Recognise the diversity and strengths of the Voluntary Sector Be accessible to all Voluntary Sector organisations regardless of size and nature

Key principles? Quality Standards should not: Be an arduous process   Be an arduous process Be seen as a guarantee of quality and safety Prevent referrals to those who have yet to reach the standards Become focussed on the process and not the outcomes
