Getting Registered on Tabroom.com For Judges

First of all: Thank you for Judging! We literally couldn’t have tournaments without you

Step 1: Go to Tabroom.com to ‘Sign Up’

Step 2: Create your Account Type your e-mail address here First Name Last Name Use your Cell # to get text ballots / postings Enter your cell provider in order to get text updates from the tournament

Why does it need my cell #? Tabroom.com uses emails/text messages to alert you when you have a ballot / are scheduled to judge a round The cell number is also visible to the tournament director in case they need to contact you during the tournament Your cell number and email are only visible to your team’s coach and the director of the tournament you are judging You will never receive spam from Tabroom.com

Step 2: Create your Account Pick a State Pick a Country Pick a Timezone Password Password Again

Step 3: Link your Account On the far right of your screen Click on “Link your account to a judge”

Step 3: Link your Account On this screen, Press the “Claim judge” button. If you have a very common name, please make sure the record you are claiming is yours!

Step 3: Link your Account “But I can’t find my name!” The most common reason for your name not appearing is that your either your team’s coach or the tournament has misspelled your name. Please contact your coach and/or the tournament to fix how your name is spelled.

Step 4: Enter Conflicts Click on your email address at the top of the screen to return to your homepage. On the far right, click the blue Conflicts button. Conflicts prevent you from judging your own school, or schools you have worked with in the past.

Step 4: Enter Conflicts Press the “Conflict” button for your school and any other schools you used to be affiliated with

Step 5: Paradigm Click on your email address at the top of the screen to return to your homepage. On the far right, click the blue Paradigm button. Even if you have a paradigm on the wiki, it’s best to have it here as well. Tabroom.com is more convenient for many students / tournaments.

Step 5: Paradigm Type or Copy/Paste your paradigm here, and then click the “Save Paradigm” button.

Step 6: Approve Account Requests (Coaches Only) Go to your tabroom.com home screen (click on your email address at the top of the page) When your judges try to link to their record, your ‘Judges’ tab will turn red. Click on it.

Step 6: Approve Account Requests (Coaches Only) Press the blue ‘PERMIT’ button to finish linking your judge to their account
