Integration of i-locate with asset management SW Connector to Box3 asset management service by Trilogis Integration of the assets representation and geographical information i-locate has developed a toolkit. This has been integrated with the existing (proprietary) asset management solution called Box3. This software has been integrated with i-locate based on i-locate open APIs. The result is an asset management solution which can leverage on IndoorGML for asset management and maintainance. In addition, from a data model point of view, the project has proposed an extension (more specifically a “module”) of IndoorGML which has been envisaged starting from the ISO55000 series abstract specifications. The module is currently being proposed as engineering report. Copyright © 2015 Open Geospatial Consortium

On top of standard asset management features this now allows indoor LBS and additional features (e.g. geofencing) made available via i-locate Copyright © 2015 Open Geospatial Consortium
Advantages of using i-locate Example of integration of existing SW and HW through i-locate Support for routing features Transparent support for several location technologies Access via ISO 55000 interface Support for IndoorGML data structure Other applications can access maintenance features of Box3 via i-locate interface Copyright © 2015 Open Geospatial Consortium
New asset management data model. ISO 55000-1-2 on asset management
Asset management video The graph is the indoor graph based on IndoorGML. The various dots are objects whose position is being tracked in real time. Different colours of the dots mean different tracking technologies (NOTE: this is completely transparent to the user). The whole interface is the existing interface by Box3 which features also additional functionalities provided by i-locate. Copyright © 2015 Open Geospatial Consortium
