How students make an account
In an internet browser of your choosing go to: edmodo.com
Group code is: xitax5 Students will fill in the following information. I recommend that students use the same username and password that they use for their school computer. Students are not required to enter an email address.
Once students sign in, they will see their home screen. Note: If you do not see the home screen, click on the HOME button above Click into our group on the side in order to access Driver’s Ed information

How to access the PowerPoints (PPTs)
Drivers Ed Power Points: Make sure you are in our group Click on Folders at the top
PowerPoints are all located here. They are not necessarily in order PowerPoints are all located here. They are not necessarily in order. Students will need to find the correct PowerPoint and access the information for the activities.
Students can click on the PPTs to bring them up in their browser. From here, students can download if they want to view the PPT offline, or print.
How to Access PPT Notes
When you click on the quiz, it will give you information such as: Number of questions Time Limit = 60 minutes
PowerPoint Notes will ask you to fill in the blanks. Spelling counts. Use the PowerPoints to help you answer the questions.
When you finish, you may immediately view your results. Students, Parents, and Teachers can also view how long it took the student to complete the quiz.
When you view your results, it will show you which ones you missed and the correct answer. We recommend that you review these correct answers before moving on in order to better prepare you for the Unit Tests.
When students return to their homepage, they will no longer have the option to take that “quiz” They can always view the results to refresh their memory at any time.
How to Access Chapter Vocabulary
Students will need to click on the right side and move the boxes up or down to match them to the corresponding box on the left side. When all the boxes are where they want them, students click SUBMIT

Here you will need your child’s parent code from their account.
From the student’s homepage: Scroll down to Invite Your Parents Parents Access Code is unique to each child. You just need one account and you can add as many children as you need.
From the Parent Home Screen parents have access to all posts in the group. Parents can also see each student they have connected with on their account.
Parents can also see what their students have finished, what they scored, and message the teacher if they have questions**. **Email is still our preferred method of communication.
