Thornton Township High School District 205 DRAFT 10-Year Capital Improvement Plan

Funding Sources Tax Levy District 205 spends approximately $4.5 million dollars on operations and maintenance items, but has the ability to levy over $9 million dollars in property taxes for the operations and maintenance fund. Almost $5 million dollars can be levied annually to support capital improvements. This would mean reducing dollars levied in other funds.

Funding Sources Bond Issue District 205 does not have the ability to add any debt service payments to the schedule until FY14, and has payments through FY22 of at least $6 million per year. Bonds can be issued for a maximum of a 20 year repayment schedule.
