Creating a Profile Sheet for Recruitment Presented by: David Albaugh Recruitment Coordinator CVVC

Intro One of the most important things athletes can do in order to increase their chances of being recruited to a college to play volleyball is to create a detailed profile sheet. This sheet should be attached to any letter you send to a college coach, and should be updated regularly.

What goes into a Profile Sheet? All of your important info… Name, address, phone numbers Height, positions played, jump stats Club and high school you play for, coaches names and contact info Grades, class rank, GPA, SAT, ACT scores Any awards you might have won athletically and academically NCAA clearinghouse # Then any videos you have on your play with the YouTube address. Make sure the first video listed is a simple 10-15 second highlight video. Next page is a sample of a profile sheet.
