Summary of EQA Autumn 2011 98 % of graders completed all 100 images Median centre sensitivity – 93% to 100% ( previous round - 82.5 % to 93.8%) Median centre specificity – 84.8% to 95.7% (previous round 87.2% to 93.6%) Overall median sensitivity / specificity – 95.3% / 91.3% (previous round – 90.0%/91.5% )

EQA - Message EQA image grading is NOT live grading Everyone should grade EQA images like live grading It aims to reflect image grading quality of all graders There is room for improvement for ALL Education , training and feedback is key Outliers need to be handled sensitively and in confidence DRS need to develop a robust and consistent national policy
