Presentation transcript:

Creating an account on Health and Social Work Databases

Whichever database you’re using, the option to create an account where you can save your searches is always in the top right hand corner…

CINAHL or PsycINFO In CINAHL and PsycINFO it’s called Sign In

British Nursing Database or ASSIA In BND and ASSIA it’s called My Research

PubMed In PubMed it’s called Sign in to NCBI

AMED or HMIC In AMED or HMIC it’s called My Account

Just fill in your details You’ll need to choose the option to create a new account It’s completely free You can use any details you want to as it isn’t linked to Brookes Some of the passwords require you to use symbols, others want a shorter than average password - read the instructions carefully

Any questions? healthcarelibrarians@brookes.ac.uk
