Python 2 Thesis Support How to Delete an Extra Dashboard–Students 2 If you find you have two dashboards, you will need to delete one. To get started, sign into Python. You can delete one of your dashboards by finding the two Python records using the Student Information module from the menu at the left and below the Student Folio folder. Once you have selected Student Information, scroll down to the gray bar titled Thesis Information. Here, you will find the duplicated dashboards. The section should look like this: You may want to take note of the Thesis ID of the dashboard you want to delete. (Proceed to next slide.) 2

The Student Thesis Editor window will appear with boxes for Draft Thesis Title and Proposal Abstract. Scroll down to the bottom of the window, and find the three buttons. Select the orange Delete Thesis button. NOTE: If you are co-authoring a thesis, be sure to delete the dashboard with the single author. 3

If your student has two dashboards, delete one by finding his or her Python record using the Students module from your Educational Advisor folder. You may want to use the Thesis ID to help remember which dashboard you want to delete. Click on the Edit pencil to the left of the unwanted dashboard.
