PRC…Phosphorus Reduction Collaborative Great Partnership Farm commodity groups Local Federations of Agriculture Cities of Chatham-Kent and London Conservation Authorities Drainage Community via LICO and Bluewater Piping Agri-business for the 4R program Environment community First Nations This group is unique

What We Do…Drainage Focus Communicate Educate Transfer information for a common understanding Focus on priority areas for drainage while being aware of other sector efforts Website…www.thamesriverprc.com

Priorities for 2018 Technology projects to remove particulate and dissolved phosphorus present in municipal drains Implement plug and play sites for technology companies Edge of field projects to capture phosphorus leaving through tile water In field projects to capture phosphorus from surface runoff into blind inlets Examine sorbent materials and systems to allow for re-use of captured phosphorus Assess sub-drains for opportunity to naturalize and determine costs

We Need Partners on the Ground Local farmers with farm association support Materials from pipe manufacturers Equipment from drainage contractors at specific sites Your expertise to identify sites Professional drainage engineers to assess naturalization costs with us. Professional drainage engineers to support technology plug and play systems The greatest need will be for greater drainage sector participation at the PRC Table
