Drainage Management In Calcasieu parish 2.0 operational assessment phase of Study February 20, 2018

Recommendations for the Operational Objectives assessment Update the operational and maintenance portion of the 2005 study An assessment of all gravity drainage districts in various subject areas is needed

Calcasieu Parish Police Jury study in 2005 Drainage presentation by Engineering and Public Works in June, 2004 Police Jury subsequently requested that the staff study alternatives for improving drainage management Drainage Management in Calcasieu Parish: A study commissioned by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury completed in February of 2005

Proposed Study Approach Updated profile of the current gravity drainage district system (map, millages, budgets, etc.) Review of drainage district operations in various areas (Finance, Human Resources, Risk Management, etc.) Review of the drainage district structure in the Parish Recommendations on how the management of drainage can be improved at the district level
