Study Participants Data Collection Measures Data Analysis 65 students Study Participants NY CC Class LA CC Class Academic Grade Average: “B” 50.8% Academic Status as full –time: 78.5% 2 different professors Age: 18-25 (76.5%) Females: 63.1% Males: 36.9% Comfortable finding information online 46.2% Data Collection Web-based, self-administered anonymous survey Identifier - College location (NY and LA) Surveys were emailed by instructors Measures Based on National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE) Data Analysis MS Excel Scale questionnaire Survey responses recorded in binary response Odds ratio measures the odds that a presence of a “treatment” changes a quantifiable property in the population. In the instant case, the quantifiable property is the percent of respondents who agree with the survey questions. The “treatment” is the creation of the technological aspect of the project.
