Required Classes At the top of the registration form you will see a section titled Required Courses. Certain courses must be taken by all 8th grade students. The required courses combined with elective courses will make up your 8 classes (4 in the fall, 4 in the spring).

Sports 8th Grade students can qualify to play on the Middle School or JV teams. Sports Student-Athletes must: pass 3 out of 4 subjects each semester have a VHSL physical dated after May 1st of each year Activity buses runs after school to transport student-athletes to drop-off points and selected elementary schools after practices The bus leaves PCHS at 6:30pm

Important Point! Put time and effort into your class work! Grades Attendance Courses sometimes fill up and we have to take students out of courses because there is not enough room. Who do you believe gets the seat in the class? Who do you believe gets what is left over?

Remember Complete form with parent’s signature and return it to your homeroom teacher. They will tell you when they need them back! Math and English placement will be determined by grades, SOL scores, teacher recommendations and Interactive Achievement scores. Think about the future when selecting classes!
