Mathematically Speaking…. The students will be working on solving division problems using array models, area models, and place value reasoning. Students will also begin working with fractions (add, subtract, and multiply). They will use visual models as a strategy. They will also continue using the standard algorithm to multiply multi-digit whole numbers. Check it out at: Learnzillion.com/lessons/552-divide-4digit-dividends-by-2digits-divisors-by-using-an-area-model Or: mathplayground.com/Fraction_bars.html Science & Social Studies In Science we have discussed Newton’s Laws of Motion.
