High School Orientation
Graduation Requirements Standard High School Diploma Must have the SPECIFIC 24 credits. Must have at least a 2.0 GPA. Must pass the Grade 10 FSA Reading. Must pass the Algebra I EOC Assessment. Must have an online course completed. Certificate of Completion It is a certificate given to a student who has completed all the necessary coursework to graduate from high school but has not met the other requirements to receive a standard diploma.
Graduation Credits 24 Specific Graduation Credits: 4 credits in English Language Arts (ELA) 4 credits in Mathematics (Must include Algebra 1 & Geometry) 3 credits in Science (must include Biology & at least 2 labs) 3 credits in Social Studies (World History, U.S. History, U.S. Gov’t, and Economics w/ Financial Literacy) 1 credit in Performing Fine Arts, Speech/Debate, or Practical Arts 1 credit in HOPE PE 8 elective credits 2 credits in same foreign language is required for Bright Futures, NCAA Eligibility Center, and State University School (SUS) admissions.
Online Course Graduation Requirement Beginning with the Class of 2015, students MUST graduate with an online credit. The legislation states that students need “a course” and it must a blended course at the current school, through FLVS, or through a dual enrollment program. If students took HOPE PE during the 2017-18 school year at FSUS, they have met this graduation requirement.

Community Service
Community Service NOT a graduation requirement Requirements: Participation must be during high school years You may not be paid or receive any type of compensation for participating in the activity Students must complete the FSUS Community Service Form and return the completed form to Mrs. Eula Walker. Bright Futures – 1oo hours

TCC Dual Enrollment Program General Admissions Criteria: Recommended for juniors and seniors At least a 3.0 unweighted (cumulative) GPA Appropriate test scores on SAT, ACT, or PERT Only can take up to 11 credit hours each semester Early Admissions Criteria: Must be in the 12th grade At least a 3.5 unweighted (cumulative) GPA Senior takes 12 – 15 credit hours each semester on TCC’s campus
