Workshop 3 Presentation ASVET Progress Report 2016-2017 22/8/2017

INTRODUCTION The ASRC contract with the Victorian State Government July 2016-June 2018 requires the ASVET program to meet 2 key objectives: Objective 1: To refer up to 1000 eligible people ( out of a total of 3000) to VET courses at TAFE institutions, other Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) such as Learn Locals and private RTOs Objective 2: To provide Helpdesk Services and Professional Development opportunities that will assist RTOs appropriately support eligible students to take up state government subsidised courses.

CONTRACT DELIVERABLES The deliverables have met all the milestones as negotiated. REFERRAL SERVICE Education Advisory appointments with approximately 1000 people 521 referrals to 30 June 2017 Male to female ratio of referrals almost equal .
