To meet the demand, the line capacity works under progress in SER will be sufficient in the coming few years. Going further, capacity of SER is to be augmented in a phased manner if steel industry meets the target of 300 MT.

Capacity Enhancement Work TATA-CKP-ROU-JSG section: ADTP-RKSN and PST-MOU and ROU-BNDM are triple line sections. Tripling work in remaining section and quadrupling work in BNDM-ROU is under progress. RKSN-DPS section: RKSN-JNK and MLKA-DPS is triple line section. Tripling work in remaining section is under progress. BNDM-HTE-RNC-BKSC section: BNDN-HTE is single line section. Doubling is under progress. CNI-ANR-DMA-KPK section: CNI-ANR-DMA tripling work in under progress. DMA-KPK doubling work is under progress. RNC – NKM-TIS section: Automatic signalling system is under progress.
