CELEBRATING BUSINESS PSYCHOLOGY: THE NEXT GENERATION

University of Westminster 26th June 2018 9:00am to 5:00pm Fyvie Hall University of Westminster 309 Regent St London Open to all UG / PG students and early-career individuals working towards or interested in Business Psychology

FIRST OF ITS KIND! Designed to celebrate business psychology, this event is the first of its kind and will run as a collaboration between the Association for Business Psychology and the University of Westminster. The University of Westminster is home to the Business Psychology Centre (BPC), which was preceded by Europe’s first MSc Business Psychology course, originated in 1998 at the university by Dr Stephen Benton. The university will therefore be honouring 20 years of success in developing world-class knowledge transfer activities relevant to both society and organisations. The ABP aims to celebrate and inspire the next generation of business psychologists, with a tribute to students achieving academic excellence and recognising their research contributions to our profession. The ABP further aims to offer Business Psychology students a home for professional networking & continuous professional development, and is delighted to be joining hands with the University of Westminster to make our shared vision a reality.

KNOWLEDGE-SHARE, NETWORKING & MORE… The workplace landscape and the relationship between employer and candidate is changing with advancements in recruitment technology, adoption of new organisational strategies and different priorities. Businesses are now evolving to meet the needs of today’s tech-savvy candidates and shifting job market. The event will draw on current trends and better inform students to help them craft their career pathways, while bringing together a strong talent pool for potential recruiters. KNOWLEDGE-SHARE, NETWORKING & MORE…
